About Me
My journey into sports massage began with a desire to work on the preventative side of health. While working as a dispenser in a chemist, I saw firsthand how many common conditions could often be supported or even avoided through better movement and proactive care. That insight shaped the direction of my career. I went on to qualify as a Personal Trainer, later expanding into yoga and Pilates to help clients build strength, improve posture, and move without pain. Working closely with individuals experiencing back pain and persistent tension deepened my understanding of how the body responds to stress, imbalance, and injury.
Becoming a Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist was the natural next step. It allows me to combine movement expertise with hands on therapy, offering a well rounded, professional approach to pain management, recovery, and long term wellbeing.
I am passionate about delivering thoughtful, tailored treatments that help you move better, feel stronger.

How can a Sports Massage benefit you?

Sports massage is not just for athletes

Sports massage offers non-athletes benefits such as reduced muscle pain and tension, improved flexibility and circulation, and relief from common issues like poor posture and repetitive strain injuries. It also provides mental health benefits by easing stress, anxiety, and fatigue, which can lead to improved mood and a greater sense of well-being.

Pre-event and Post-event sports massage, maintenance massage and recovery from injury.

pre-event massage physically prepares muscles for activity through increased blood flow, warmth, and muscle stimulation. It also provides a psychological boost by stimulating nerve endings and promoting a state of readiness through a fast, rhythmic application that can reduce stress and risk of injury, increase focus and enhance performance.

Post-event benefits athletes by accelerating recovery, reducing muscle soreness and fatigue, and improving flexibility through increased blood flow and waste removal. Effleurage (stroking) promotes lymphatic drainage and circulation, while petrissage (kneading) squeezes and loosens muscle fibers to release tension and spasms. Combined, these techniques reduce the risk of injury by helping the muscles recover from the stress of exercise.
